FAQ's
We are in Munich’s Thalkirchen campsite, which is the nearest to the city centre. You can easily arrive on the metro (U3 line to Thalkirchen) or on the 135 bus. Here’s a Google Maps link to make your life easier.
A simple tent with a basic mat and a continental breakfast. You’ll have to bring your own bedding. We keep the prices as cheap as possible so you can spend more on beer and site seeing.
We attract people from all walks of life united by a passion for exploring new places, food and in Munich beer. During Oktoberfest the atmosphere is rather lively, as you can imagine.
We provide you with a place to sleep and a common area to socialise and eat breakfast. Thalkirchen campsite has toilets with hot showers (token required), sinks for dishes and cooking facilities, a laundromat, restaurant, bar and store on-site, lounge and playground. We are also located alongside the Isar River where people surf on the rapids.
The campsite is on the Isar River, alongside the Munich Zoo and walking distance to the Munich Golf Club. As we’re only 10 minutes on public transport from Munich centre you have easy access to everything – including the Oktoberfest festival grounds and Munich’s many beer gardens.
